3 color hand-pulled screenprint on kraft speckletone French Paper 16"x 20"
Makibaka! Huwag matakot! is the battlecry of the movement against fascist dictatorship in the 1970s and 1980s in the Philippines. It translates to "Fight! Do not be afraid!" With the rising tide of fascism, attacks against democracy and sovereignty under the Duterte administration, this call once again becomes relevant for the Filipino people defending human rights, democracy and sovereignty.
Proceeds will go towards Malaya Movement's human rights work.
