Dismiss trumped up charges against Talaingod 18!

We vehemently condemn the unjust conviction of current Rep. France Castro, former BAYAN Muna rep Satur Ocampo and others for their work protecting the rights of Lumad children against the grip of the fascist Armed Forces of the Philippines. This case, filed in 2018, is indicative of the fascist policies Duterte put in place that continue to wreak havoc on human rights defenders.

It is not the Talaingod 18 who go into Lumad communities to harass them to pave way for plunder of their lands and resources. It is not the Talaingod 18 that shut down Lumad schools. It is not the Talaingod 18 who killed Willy Rodriguez, Lenie Rivas, and 12-year-old Angel Rivas in 2021 when they asked to go to their farm in Lianga. 

Justice and accountability must be sought against the real terrorists attacking indigenous people: the fascist Marcos-Duterte regimes, the despicable National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed conflict, and the brutal Armed Forces of the Philippines. Dismiss all trumped up charges against the Talaingod 18! Save Lumad schools! Hold Marcos & Duterte accountable for their crimes against the Lumad, and Abolish the NTF-ELCAC!
