Malaya Movement USA denounces the recent, violent incident of Chinese aggression towards Philippine vessels and personnel on a resupply mission to BRP Sierra Madre on Ayungin Shoal. As an organization built on the principle of defending and upholding Philippine sovereignty from all foreign powers, we are alarmed at the increasing frequency and severity of clashes in the West Philippine Sea between the Philippines and China.

Malaya Movement USA vehemently condemns the US government’s clandestine anti-vaccination and anti-China disinformation campaign aimed at Filipinos at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. This psychological warfare operation, uncovered by Reuters, is an unconscionable act by the US military in an effort to discredit and attack its rival superpower, China, at the expense of thousands of Filipino lives. It contributed to unfounded anti-vaccination hesitancy at a time when the Philippines was experiencing some of the worst cases of COVID infections and deaths in the region.

June 12, 2024 is the 126th “Independence Day” of the Philippines. The Philippines was the first country in Asia to win an anti-colonial revolution, and we celebrate that victory because it is a testament to the Filipino people’s determination for freedom. That fight lives on as the state of the Philippines’ sovereignty is in shambles, especially under puppet and sell-out Marcos Jr.

Malaya Movement USA uplifts the verdict of the International People’s Tribunal (IPT) held in Brussels on May 17-18 which found President Marcos Jr., former President Duterte, the Philippine Government, President Biden, and the U.S. government guilty of war crimes or violations of international humanitarian law.
